4 Rounds
30 Jump and Touch (1 foot above reach)
20 Deadlifts (110#/185#)
10 Handstand Pushups*

Sub Push Press (80#/135#) for HSPU's. I do not want Table HSPU's as a sub unless it is a true up and down motion. Your arms and upper body need to be perpendicular to the ground throughout the entire motion. No more decline pushups from the table. For the Push Press sub, if you do not use RX'd than I want you to use a weight that you have to drop once in your set of 10. If you get all 10 the weight is to light.

15:57 135# PP sub for HSPU's
Great WOD! I did the first 30 Jump and reach in 22 seconds. I pretended it was jumprope. I was touching a good 2-4 inches above the tape I placed at 12". The following rounds I broke up into 5-10. Deadlifts didn't feel too heavy but I was so fatigued I had to drop it once the first round and twice thereafter. Push Press were heavy on my legs. I had to drop it at 6 each round except for the last. I sucked it up and stopped acting like I was tired. I got all 10. I gave everything I had.

I am going to really try to coach and train as much as I can for now on. This is why I put the sub below the WOD. Without some direction we and even I can get into a lull and get to comfortable in a routine. We do not want to get comfortable. But what we want is to be comfortably uncomfortable! My goal is to get every one of you much stronger, faster and fitter by the end of the year! I also want each of you to accomplish a new goal such as 1 HSPU, 50 Double Unders in a row or a Box Jump onto the table. Have fun and keep up the great work!

21:51 Rx'd rnd 1; 2-4 dropped to 75lb PP

J&R is tough for me; no way I was even close to 22 seconds!! Only have enough weight for one bar so had to add/strip each round. All in all not (too) bad...

Like your thoughts Paul; thank you. Let's do this! :0)

*rx'd w/ 80lb PP; sub'd for HSPU

Nice Job Krista. I forgot to mention that I used only 1 bar and had to add/strip the bar each round. It was probably easier for me though. I had 45's on the bar and put on the clamps. This made 135#. I then just added and removed the 25's on the outside of the clamps for the deadlifts. This made 185#.

...I got all 20 DL's the 1st rnd and had to drop once rnds 2-4; broke up all PP (1 drop) except the last round - got all 10! Was hoping to get under 20 mins though! You smoked this Paul!

Deadlift 115# sets of 5. Weight lifting really slows me down! Blew through HSPU feet to bench; but park didn't have any other options.

Nice Job Deneshia! You need to come out again so that we can get you on board with the weight lifting and good form. Also have everyone do it together pushes you a bit more. Keep it up!

Hand Stand Push ups really slowed me down but I was able to push through it. Between the hand stand push ups and looking up at my 12" high mark I got a bit dizzy. Towards the end of the HSPUs I got the hang of it and was able to get 4 at a time once.

Nice Job Jared! If I tried HSPU's I would have been like 23 hours. Those really would have slowed me down from round 2 on.

75# PP for HSPU

Wow - I was soaked by the end of this workout! I think I was around 30 seconds for the first set of jump and touch. Deadlifts seemed hard - broke into 12-8 the first 2 rounds, then 7-7-6. Push press broke up into 6-4. Lisa and I were pretty much neck and neck this entire WOD, but she blew by me on the last round - nice job with push press! Odilia also came back for more and did great!

Odilia: 14:25; 60# DL/45#PP
