Morgan- 7:30 65#PP65# was a tough weight. I think it's been awhile on Push Press for me. I never put the bar down but I had to take a breather every round but the 1st. I finally taped my pull-up bar so my hands can actually grip the smokin hot bar. Before taping, I'd slip off after every 2 pullups. Pullups on Round 1- 10,7. Round 2- 7,7. Round 3- 7,6,1 Round 4-6,4,4
8:2070# PPThe 70# was good - challenging, but was able to get through all 7. I was hoping to do better on pullups. My hands just don't seem to be holding up this summer. Just missed a blister. Lisa - great job with your pullups! Thanks for getting eaten alive by mosquitoes with me!Morgan and Jared - strong work!Previous:9:21 65# (10-12-10)
Jenette - 8:57, 65#This felt good! I only had to drop the bar once in the last round. Pullups were hard after I ripped three blisters.
6:40 RX'dThe first round was the only round I did unbroken in either exercise. My goal was to be less than 2 minutes slower than my previous time and to beat Morgan by 1 minute. I did neither. My rounds were approximately :47, 2:30, 4:30 and 6:40. My pullups were weak! (last round - 4,2,2,2,2,2) I tore 2 more blisters. I forget how much better shape I was in 2010. Paleo and making it my life shows back then.Previous Times:4:39 RX'd (10/12/10)
10:55; 75lbsHorrible. I got through all PP without having to drop the bar; but, my pullups were the worst ever! No blisters but I could only get a couple at a time and my hands hurt!
From reading all these comments makes me proud to be part of this group. It is 100 plus outside people are ripping blisters and just sucking it up and working through the pain. A lot of us have aches and pains but hitting it hard day in and out despite the hurt. I don't think you can find many groups like this GREAT JOB EVERYONE!!Jared
Nicely said Jared!
