Good WOD. Snatches were a bit too heavy for me and my skill level. I warmed up with some light snatches and then did about 3 with 135lb and decided that my form was being comprimised and I might hurt myself so I switched to clean and jerk. Chest to bars were tough was only able to get about 5-6 at first then was doing 2-4 and dropping off the bar. For some I am not able to get fast with my wall balls. I think it might be because I do them at a bit of a slant on my driveway, or maybe I am just weak. All in all this was a great WOD thanks Paul. Rx'd Clean and Jerk for Snatches.18:13Jared
15:1260# snatchesPaul forced me to do this WOD at 3:00 in the afternoon! It was actually not as bad as I thought it would be. I was happy with 60# snatches - couldn't do more than 2 or 3 in a row. Pullups went well - about 6 at a time. 2nd set of box jumps took forever!
14:55 125# SnatchesGood WOD! I agree with Jared. The 135# Snatches were to heavy for me. Jen had to remind me to decrease weight to prevent injury. I have noticed that prior to surgery I was much faster and the heavier weight WOD's never affected my performance. I have a long way to get before I am at that level again. My goal right now is to decrease weight if I have to and push harder on my runs and aerobic capacity. And of course lose some weight.Previous Times:12:16 RX'd (05/20/10)
Oops, forgot to mention that I did regular pullups - NOT chest to bar!
