If you do not have a Wallball and/or a Pullup Bar then get creative. Make it challenging and don't sub Pullups for Situps. If you have Rings hang them from a beam and do Jumping Ring Pullups or do Ring Rows. Also there are plenty of places at the park that has monkey bars. Get Creative! If you do not have a Wallball find something heavy you can throw against the beam or side of the building. Otherwise use a 30# Bar and do thrusters with a hard thrust at the top.

Very hard. We did this at a park using a jungle gym pullup bar. I used tape on my hands and still got a blister at round 5. It was difficult to keep a good grip on the bar. Wallballs were no problem. In fact all 4 of us who did this WOD ripped blisters!

Wow! I remember this WOD being hard for me with the red band. What were the other times? What do you think about subbing hand-release push-ups for the pullups? We don't have rings or bands yet.

That would be still a good WOD Jenette. Maybe even 15 Pushups and 10 Wallballs for 10 Rounds.

Very tough! Had to tape the bars since the bars were hot and slippery (painted). Thus tearing all our hands apart. Lots of blood on the pullup bars. Had to use accuracy in the Wallballs throwing it against a basketball backboard. My hands are ripped up!

My sister in law Julie and my brother Danny also joined us. Julie started CF 01/01/11 and just hit her 6 months. She has made leaps and bounds and just received her Level I trainer. Her Husband Randy has lost an unbelievable amount of weight and looks great. Danny has now been doing this for some time, is Level I Certified and looks great. Everyone did awesome in this tough WOD and everybody was RX'd. Julie really tore up her hands.

Julie - 19:21 RX'd (7 rounds)
Had to stop at 7 rounds and her last 2 were brutal. Both her hands tore open throughout her palm. Great Job!

Danny - 14:54 RX'd
Awesome Job! His time through 5 rounds was smokin' fast but then his hands tore. Slowed up alot in the second half.

This one was hard on the arms and shoulders. We did it in the family room which was nice because there's a major monsoon storm outside! Good job everyone.

I thought I posted this yesterday, but I don't see it.

Ouch those blisters look painful!!

We used a bar across the top of 2 chairs (reverse push-ups I think that they are called). 10 rds of 10 each
Shannon ~10 #s 13:59
Ben ~ 20 #s 14:26

Awesome Job Shannon. These with rings would be called Ring Rows. So maybe they are called Pullup Bar Rows? The blisters are much worse than they look in the picture.

Jenette - did you use 2 20# DB? Did Hunter use 2 35# DB? If so that is alot of weight for thrusters? Or did you use 1 DB and hold it with both hands? If so this is a good substitute and great way to get your WB's in! Good Job!
