LOL - 6:58 Rx'd Nice, hard, fast WOD. Did some running after. Felt good. Anyone up for a WOD tomorrow morning?6:58 60lbs (12/31/10)7:02 60lbs (11/07/10)7:22 60lbs (07/04/10)
Paul - 5:19 RX'd 96#This was hard and fast like Krista states. The situps the last round are brutal.Previous Times:Paul - 5:15 Rx'd (12/31/10)Paul - 5:20 RX'd (07/04/10)
Jenette - 7:07, 45#, still having pain in my left shoulder since the dumbbell wo attempt.
Awesome Job Jenette. Very impressive! Was the pain started from the one WOD we taalked about or from the WOD with Rayne? Be careful with DB as they use many more accesory muscles. If you do 45# on a Barbell then do not use 20# DB but use 15# until you have built up the strength. Keep up the solid work!
JEN B.6:43 Rx'dNice job Krista! I may have been a couple pounds short of 60#...had to put the bar down once each round. Did situps unsecured. 6:29; 55# 12/31/106:20; 55# 7/4/10
Paul, yes it's from the one we talked about. Today I used Hunter's bar and it was much better, but I'm sure I tried too much weight on the dumbells. P.S. Hunter timed me and said my form was ok until the end and I started going forward on the way up, but the squats were low enough.
Jenette - I know your form and squats are legit. The are very good early on and you have come a long way. You are so strong and fit for just 3 months into it. Keep it up and you will accomplish things you never imagined.Morgan and Jared - Where are you two? Did you quit? Why haven't I seen any postings? Come on and Get It On!
Sandra R 55lbs. Sirius unsecured. 7:12Irving ( yeah)!!!! 9:10 60lbs situp unsecured
Jen - you kicked butt! I didn't put bar down at all BUT, as Paul said, the last round of situps were brutal and they killed me; I think I stopped 3x's on those...ugh!! Jenette, Sandra AND Irving - way to go!!
I did this workout sunday night. 85# thruster(Dropped once on second round, 2 times on 3rd)And unsecured situps. My situps were really slow after the first round.I also hiked camelback midday saturday, and ran 4 miles a few hours after that.Did my first PT test on thursday morning:-50 pushups in under a minute(needed 40 in 2 minutes to pass)-30 situps in 2 minutes, anchored and you have to keep your hands behind your head(needed 50 to pass in 2 minutes)-14:30 2 mile run(needed 16:30 to pass)So I passed everything by a long shot except for situps. :(
Oh right, 9:40 on the workout. ~
So what does that mean since you didn't pass? Do you get another chance? Start incorporating situps with hands behind your head in your WOD's. Keep us informed!
Oh it just means I can try again later. It's only for getting an extra rank before I go to basic. I can easily pass the basic basic test. The one that you need in order to even go to basic. It's like 15 pushups/situps in a minute and like a 9 minute mile run or something like that.
You better get it on then!
