Power Clean Is a clean (to your shoulders) in a power mode. Therefore it is from the ground to shoulders. Then back to ground to shoulders. Again this is done with a power mode, not a squat clean. To overhead would be a Jerk or Push Press. Hope this helps.
Paul - 7:06 RX'd 135# This was a good WOD! Had a rover work with us last shift named Mike and he did this WOD with me. He is 24 and crushed it with a 8:56 performance. Nice Job Mike!
Previous Similar WOD: 3 rounds 15 hang cleans 15 burpees Paul - 5:15 Hang cleans are much faster and am happy with my time.
OMG! Killed this; did not stop on burpees and didn't rest much during power cleans either. The last two rounds was real hard to finish the last 2-3 power cleans. This was hard and I was sweating bullets! Seems like a fast time so I just did another round straight through and it took 1:18. Pretty sure we did do 5 though.
Wow, you sure did kill it! I am very impressed with your time. You almost beat the similar WOD while not only increasing weight but traveling 4 feet further on each rep. Hang clean travels about 2 feet up and 2 feet down. Power clean travels about 4 feet up and 4 feet down. Unbelievable!
WO with Krista on this one OMG!!! The weight felt good; should of went with 75#. Way to go there Krista, nice form. Thought I had you bet there for awhile. I would of never did so well on my own with this one. Almost drop bar a few times, had no feeling in my right hand!!
Hey! Thanks; it was crazy! Did 4-6 reps of PC's each round before putting the bar down. After that I would do 2-3 at a time until done with all 10. It was wicked! Hurting today though...

Howdy! I need clarification please: is a power clean from the ground to overhead or ground to shoulders/chest? Thank you!

Awesome times girls! I don't know how you did it so fast with that weight. After the first round, I dropped the weight after every rep.

This was my second time doing the power cleans- I felt like my form was much better! Tough workout!
Nice Job Julie. That is great for learning these moves via internet.
