That was a tough combo with the thrusters and kettlebells. Had to put the thrusters down multiple times. Didn't think I would make it through the 2nd round. Sandra did awesome and even did some pullups without a band! You are stronger than you give yourself credit for!
11:08 55# thrusters 35# KB Very tough, but pushed through it. I did 3 pullups without a band. First time I did one and shocked myself that I could do it, that I stopped. Then did 2 in a row. Feels great to have come this far. I remember using the blue band and thinking "these people are nuts if they think I can ever do a pullup." A lot of thanks to Paul and Jen for pushing me this far. and to everyone else who sticks with it. It gives a lot of encouragement.
Krista 10:28 55lb Thrusters 35lb KB Hard; managed to have good time on my rows and was able to get through all the KB's without stopping...not so much on the Thrusters. Had to put the bar down 3-4 times on the first round, 2x's the second round and once on the last round. Good job by all and, Sandra, way to go on the pull-ups...now NO BAND??? :-)
Mike L 70# Thrusters, 50# KBs 12:17 I lost count for the middle set of thrusters, so I didn't want to do too few... If I'd done 3 less, I probably would have shaved off a rest period and came in under 12:00. Something to look forward to next time. By the way, going to need to tie down the rowing machine!
As indicated by the picture, the last two days of workouts caught up with me. Paul, of all the pictures to post... THANKS A LOT!
