Did Monday's workout Looked at times before starting so I knew what I was competing with. Finished in 16:02. Same as Jen, I was so excited. But then realized, I used the wrong weight for OH squats. I only used a 15lb dumbell and was dying with that. You guys rocked. No way I could have kept up.
I started off doing a 5k row, then realized about 1750 in thqat I wasn't going to be able to do it without stopping. So I modified it: 2000 row 8:35 1600 run 9:00 1000 row 4:10 800 run 4:20 500 row 2:00 400 run 2:05 Took about 30 seconds inbetween each. 500 row to 400 run I had to stop for a minute so I didn't pass out, lol. Was very dificult.
Also did 39 doubles in a row after the workout. nNw PR!
Nice Job everyone. It is difficult to do on your own, but is good to do it alone once in a while. (constantly varied) I encourage everybody to contact one another as well and group up on days like today. Keep it up and see you tomorrow.
Josh, You could have finished the row. I felt the same way and wanted to stop at 2K, but everyone else somehow made it through, so I figured I would too...
Fitness Estrella is a Garage Gym run by Paul Burgess. Fitness Estrella was established after Paul received his CrossFit Level I certification and wanted to develop a cost effective way for people to workout. This is no luxury gym and definitely not a social club. It is an outdoor -slash- garage gym for people that want to make a difference in their own lives. Although this gym is not a social club, it is absolutely one that promotes comraderie, support and encouragement. Fitness Estrella teaches correct lifting in functional movements at intensity. It is developed to make it short, but will spend as much time as wanted to teach, practice and train any individual in the group aside from class. If desired, complete body composition analysis and nutritional information will be provided as Paul is a fitness trainer as well. Disclaimer - These workouts are for the athletes of Fitness Estrella. Anybody who performs these workouts are doing so on their own and needs a trained professional or someone who is qualified. Anybody doing these workouts is doing so at their own risk. I do encourage everybody to get involved and post to comments.
